- How quickly is the date blocked on Booking.com and Airbnb too?
- On your own website, instantly — the period can no longer be booked the moment you save. The platforms poll your iCal calendar at regular intervals; each platform sets its own exact rhythm. Should a booking overlap during that window after all, double-booking protection raises the alarm immediately.
- Can I remove a block again?
- Yes, at any time. You delete the block in the calendar, and the period is instantly bookable again on your website. Via iCal sync, it opens up again in the platform calendars too. That is handy when a renovation slips or the family visit falls through — the days go straight back on sale.
- What is the difference between a block and a booking?
- A block has no guest: no guest details, no automatic emails, no payment, no invoice. It only blocks availability and appears in the calendar in its own colour. A booking, by contrast, triggers the whole flow — confirmation, pre-arrival emails, access code and later the request for a review.
- Can my team block dates as well?
