Sync with Booking & Airbnb

If you copy dates between calendars by hand, you live with an uneasy feeling: one forgotten entry is enough, and two guests book the same night. With apartmentsite, the calendars of Booking.com, Airbnb and Vrbo connect to your website via two-way iCal β€” a booking there blocks the date here too, fully automatically.

  • Dates block themselves

When a guest books on Booking.com, the period instantly becomes unavailable on your website. When someone books directly with you, the block travels to the platforms via iCal. Manual copying disappears completely.

  • Booking.com, Airbnb and Vrbo

The sync works with the major platforms through their iCal calendars. You keep your listings there exactly as before β€” the platforms remain your partners, only the calendars now talk to each other.

  • Your website as a channel of your own

Alongside the platforms, your own website sells commission-free β€” with a typical 15% platform commission, that is a noticeable difference per booking. The sync makes sure both channels always show the same state.

  • Connect once, then it just runs

You add the platforms’ iCal links once in the panel β€” no technical knowledge required. From then on, the calendars keep syncing continuously without you lifting a finger.

The connection is set up in three steps:

  1. 01

Copy the iCal links from the platforms

Booking.com, Airbnb and Vrbo provide a calendar link for every listing. You copy it from the calendar settings of each platform.

  2. 02

Paste the links into the panel

In your website’s panel, you add the links to the matching apartment. In return, you add your website’s export link to the platform β€” so the data flows in both directions.

  3. 03

    The calendars sync automatically

From now on, occupied periods from the platforms appear in your calendar, and your direct bookings block the dates there. Double-booking protection additionally watches for conflicts.

FAQ

What exactly gets synced?
The calendars are synced β€” that is, occupied and free periods β€” in both directions. That is precisely what prevents double bookings. The iCal format technically does not carry prices or booking details; full price sync is in the works on our side. Until then, you manage your prices as usual, directly on the platforms and on your website.
Is this a channel manager?
No, and we say that deliberately and honestly: the sync connects the calendars via iCal; it does not transfer prices or content between the platforms. For the biggest everyday risk β€” two guests, one night β€” that is exactly enough. If you need more, you can keep using a channel manager in parallel; the iCal calendars get along with it just fine.
How quickly do the platforms learn about a new booking?
The platforms poll iCal calendars at regular intervals β€” each platform sets its own rhythm, not us. Your own website knows about every direct booking instantly. For the rare case that two bookings overlap in the meantime, double-booking protection raises the alarm right away, so you can react quickly.
Does the sync cost extra?
No, it is included in every subscription β€” from €49/month for one apartment, with no setup fee and no locked modules. You can try your finished website free for 14 days, no card; we set up the connection to your platforms together with you at activation. From then on, a 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies.

Send us your listing links β€” your website is ready in 48 hours, set to connect with the platforms.
